Ian Kennedy Photography

Thanks for looking at my site. I have been doing photography seriously for the last 10 years or so gradually building a portfolio of work some of which has been featured in articles or bought for display. My work covers walls in hospitals, crematoriums, old people's homes and estate agents around Huddersfield where I live.

I have had photos featured in several newspaper articles and calendars as well as in Yorkshire Life magazine, Amateur Photographer magazine, the Sunday Times Supplement and after many years of trying, the Landscape photographer of the Year National awards book in 2013. My cards and prints of Huddersfield scenes are on sale in some Huddersfield shops.
I have photographed several weddings having found a niche for those couples who perhaps don’t have a big budget but who nevertheless want a good record of their big day. I usually charge around £500 - 600 - if you are interested please have a look at the weddings section on this site and contact me to discuss further. As I’m a teacher by trade I often get called upon to organise if the Best man is a little tied up which I’m more than happy to do!

Another particular favourite is to photograph dramatic productions. I am usually invited to rehearsal where actors will freeze frame in a variety of lighting backgrounds and backdrops. This is an area I would also like to build upon. The only area I’m not that keen on is pets!

I hope you enjoy looking - there is an option to buy if you should feel so moved as to do so -should you require sizes other than those offered please don't hesitate to email.
It will help with viewing if you press F11 now - you then won't need to scroll down to see the bottom of some of the portrait photos
